The acoustic diagnosis

An acoustic diagnosis is an audit performed, either predictively or at the current stage, by a sound expert, in order to measure and analyze noise-related issues.
The acoustic diagnosis therefore allows a precise measurement (using many tools) of sound levels coming from all the controlled area but also from the external environment.
Rain, hail, automobile or rail traffic noises, noise from equipment or machinery … the study considers the entirety of the ambient sound environment.
An acoustician can therefore make an acoustic diagnosis and analyze noises and their propagation to improve the acoustic comfort of a building, an infrastructure, a room … He must understand the context of this acoustic diagnosis and, to do this, must ask many questions to propose a personalized response to this analysis. As a result of this study and these different controls, the acoustician will be able to propose optimal solutions for the different types of noise that have been identified.
