It verifies, under actual building operating conditions, that the achieved performance levels meet the objectives set during the design phase and comply with the requirements of applicable standards. For a BREEAM-certified hotel project, three key areas are systematically monitored: sound insulation between rooms, measured using the standardized third-octave band method; background noise levels in guest rooms, assessed with all sources of technical equipment in operation; and external noise emissions at the building facade and property lines, compared to the thresholds for zones with regulated noise levels.

Each measured indicator is compared to BREEAM thresholds and applicable regulatory requirements. The results are documented in an acoustic acceptance report structured so that it can be directly submitted to the project owner, the BREEAM certification body, and, if applicable, the regulatory authorities.
