Acoustics and noise maps for CALL

Regulatory context and project objectives

In line with European Directive 2002/49/EC and French regulations, the Communauté d’Agglomération de Lens-Liévin (CALL) has launched a comprehensive environmental noise management program. This project is part of a drive to better assess noise exposure on its territory, while meeting its regulatory obligations. It is based on two complementary components: strategic noise maps (CBS) and the Environmental Noise Prevention Plan (PPBE).

Conclusion: a structured acoustic policy to serve the region

The Communauté d’Agglomération de Lens-Liévin now has a complete acoustic inventory and a structured action plan to guide its noise reduction policy. This approach is part of a sustainable territorial development approach, combining regulatory requirements, technical efficiency and local consultation.
Through its support, SIM Engineering confirms its role as a trusted partner for local authorities wishing to integrate environmental acoustics into their development projects, by providing concrete, compliant and effective solutions.
